The Associate Teacher is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the established curriculum for the children in the Los Niños Child Development and Family Program operated by the Community Action of Napa Valley. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with the operation of all classroom activities. 2. Assist with maintaining the health and safety of the classroom environment. 3. Assist with assessing and meeting the individual needs of each child. 4. Assist with the implementation of a bilingual, multicultural curriculum, which includes health and nutrition; special events; and the motor, cognitive, social and affective skills. 5. Maintain records and documents as required by the teacher. 6. Provide parents with information on the development of the child. 7. Provide parents with information on educational resources, child development, discipline etc. 8. Attend meetings and training as required. 9. Encourage parent involvement in program activities. 10. Maintain confidentiality as required by law and CANV policies. 11. Comply with established CANV procedures. 12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills Needed: Any combination of training and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities as listed below is qualifying. The equivalent of twelve units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college is required.

Center Manager - Full Time, Napa $10.00 per hour
Full-time, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. The Center Manager is responsible for the oversight of activities within the Hope Resource Center to ensure a safe and productive environment; a center operated by Napa Valley Shelter Project a program of Community Action of Napa Valley. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Treat all residents equally, with respect, and according to the professional guidelines and staff rules set forth in the NVSP policy manual. 2. Maintain a clean and safe environment 3. Accurately complete intake forms for new consumers 4. Monitor consumer activities including showers and chores. 5. Complete staff chores specific to location and shift. 6. Provide and keep accurate inventory of necessary supplies and tools and/or equipment for consumer use. 7. Refer consumers who wish to talk about their plans and barriers to appropriate staff. 8. Assist consumers with motel/shelter vouchers as needed. 9. Consistently enforce all site rules and policies 10. Perform security checks of the building. 11. Answer phones and route messages. 12. Aid and assist on-site volunteers. 13. The Clerical Assistant is responsible for assisting daily clerical functions for the Tobacco Education & Quit Smoking Program of Community Action of Napa Valley. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform a variety of clerical functions. 2. Answer incoming calls in a professional manner; take and relay messages. 3. Qualified candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in commercial lending, experience with financial spreading programs, and experience with Microsoft Office software. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conduct financial, industry, and credit analysis and gather, analyze, and interpret all types of credit information for a wide variety of existing and prospective business customers. Obtain required information from bank personnel and/or customer in order to conduct the necessary due diligence to underwrite the loan and present a thorough and substantiated credit analysis. Prepare credit commitment reports for loan approval for all commercial banking transactions, ensuring compliance with bank policies and noting and justifying any exceptions to policy.
